JACK THE LADS

Description

Ideal for both type audiences – children or/and adults – at the close-up table. It’s a visual transformation effect using two ‘Jacks’ – Hearts and Spades. The performer calls them a a couple of Jack the Lads. Spectators can handle both cards at the start and finish of the presentation. Both cards, shown back and front, are rested apart on a table surface and then covered with a pocket handkerchief (not supplied.) He removes the Jack of Hearts, leaving the Jack of Spades under the hanky. PRESTO! – the Jacks magically change places. The effect can be repeated several times if wished. Two separate effects are possible using the special set of printed cards. No sleights or moves involved. No false counts. No double-sided cards. You must have these specially manufactured cards, since regular ones cannot be gaffed or used.
