MONA LISA

£15.00

A brand new version of the classic ‘Baby Gag’ effect – even funnier!  A spectator selects a card from a deck, this being placed face down onto a table. The performer now displays a stiff cardboard envelope and states that inside it is a reproduction of a famous painting, probably the most famous in the world. He asks a spectator to let everyone know what famous painting she has in her mind. Most immediately think of the famous Mona Lisa, painted by Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci, but others, such as The Last Supper, The Scream, Whistler’s Mother could will be mentioned. However, no matter what is mentioned, the performer removes a picture of his favourite painting – one painted by his son or grandson, which gets some laughs. Here’s the kicker – he reverses this picture, and on the other side is a beautifully printed picture of Mona Lisa. When it is finally withdrawn, she is seen holding a playing card in her right hand – it’s the chosen card.  Use your own deck.
