A super close-up mental effect using three BIC ballpoint pens of different colours (caps and bottom studs) – red, blue and green. These are scattered onto a table surface. A spectator assists. Whilst turning his back on the audience, the performer requests the spectator to freely (no force) select one of the pens. The remaining two are removed by spectators, and hidden from view. The performer can always reveal the coloured pen which has been chosen. The effect can be repeated using the same spectator or others. No force of pen – the performer can be blindfolded if wished – and NO, it’s NOT the old doge of secretly removing the cap of the pen and marking the colour of ink on your hand. Very easy to do.
