MISSING MIDDLE RIDDLE

Description

One designed for presentation to children who are much older. It’s an illusion in miniature – removing the middle from a cute girl assistant and then restoring her! The effect uses a beautifully printed plaque baring the illustration of a pretty girl assistant which is inside a stiff cardboard envelope which has a cut-out window on its front. A ‘sliding sleeve’ is made to slide down to cover the young lady’s centre. Using two opened fingers as a pair of pretend scissors, the performer makes a couple of ‘pretend’ snips around her central area. WHEN THE SLEEVE IS LOWERED – HER TUMMY AREA HAS GONE! – just a space left where it used to be. The ‘sleeve’ is removed, the audience clearly seeing she is complexly restored. Self-contained. Easy to do. Bright and colourful props. Ideal too, for adult type shows.
