Tested out by Professional magician Steve Short who said “It’s a winner!” It’s a ‘Long Card’ and ‘Four Wrongs Make a Right’ all rolled into one! A spectator selects a card from a deck eg: 6 of Hearts. (use your own deck.) The performer displays a white wooden paddle on both sides and slides an examined black sleeve over it. Moments later he partly removes the paddle from the sleeve to reveal ONE heart image. He asks the spectator: “Is your card the ace of hearts?” The spectator answers “no”. He withdraws the paddle a little further up – now displaying TWO hearts. Wrong again. This is repeated one more time so THREE hearts appear, but wrong again. He asks the spectator to name the chosen card – 6 of Hearts. The paddle is shown on both sides – three hearts on each. “Three hearts on this side, and three on the other – 3 and 3 make six – the six of hearts.” he quips. Self-contained. Nicely made.
